Help us recognize the people and organizations strengthening Saskatoon's visitor economy. A strong nomination explains what the nominee accomplished, why it mattered, and how the work created a positive impact for visitors, partners, the community, or the destination.

Before You Begin

Please review the award categories and eligibility requirements before submitting a nomination.

Nominations cannot be edited once submitted. Prepare your responses before you begin, and review your submission carefully before sending it.

The nomination form will ask for:

  • Nominee name
  • Nominee contact information
  • Organization or business name
  • Award category
  • A summary of the nominee's contribution
  • Examples of leadership, service, innovation, investment, or collaboration
  • The impact of the nominee's work
  • Supporting results or evidence
  • Optional supporting materials

A separate form must be submitted for each nominee and award category.

What Makes a Strong Nomination?

Be specific

Describe what the nominee did. Include concrete examples rather than broad statements about their character or reputation.

Show the impact

Explain what changed because of the nominee's work.

Impact may include:

  • Visitor spending
  • Event attendance
  • Hotel room nights
  • Audience growth
  • Improved guest experience
  • New partnerships
  • Community engagement
  • Investment
  • Product development
  • Destination visibility
  • Industry leadership

Not every nomination will have formal economic data. Relevant testimonials, feedback, participation numbers, media coverage, and other evidence may also be included.

Connect the nomination to the category

Review the published category description and explain clearly how the nominee meets those expectations.

Provide context

Help adjudicators understand the challenge, opportunity, or circumstances surrounding the nominee's work.

Focus on quality

A clear and well-supported nomination is more effective than a long submission that repeats the same information.

Supporting Materials

Nominators may be invited to upload a limited number of supporting materials, such as:

  • Letters of support
  • Visitor or client testimonials
  • Photographs
  • Media coverage
  • Reports or performance summaries
  • Event results
  • Links to relevant work

Supporting materials should strengthen the nomination, not replace the written submission.

Nomination Deadline

Nominations must be received by:

September 18, 2026

Late or incomplete nominations will not be considered.
